    How it works

Add a photo, then paint over anything private — faces, license plates, house numbers, card details — with the brush. The tool layers a fully blurred copy of your image underneath and erases the sharp top layer along each stroke, so the blurred area appears exactly where you paint. Brush size and blur strength are adjustable; presets cover the whole image or blur the edges for a focus-centered look. Download the result as JPEG or PNG.

    Everyday uses

    • Social media — blur other people’s faces before posting group photos.
    • Marketplace listings — hide license plates, serial numbers and house numbers in listing photos.
    • Screenshots — redact names, balances and addresses before sharing.
    • Portraits — blur messy backgrounds for a focus-centered look.

Privacy: the blur is baked into the downloaded pixels — but remember, extreme de-blurring research exists, so use a high blur strength (15+ px) for anything truly sensitive. Your photo never leaves your browser.
