The short version: DollarWise doesn’t collect your personal data. Our free tools run entirely in your browser — your files never leave your device. We don’t have accounts, logins, or newsletters that store your information.
Information we collect
Practically none. We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t collect names, emails, or payment details through this site. If you email us (see our Contact page), we’ll only use your message to reply to you.
Our free tools and your files
This is the important one. Tools like our converters, counters, and calculators process everything locally in your web browser. When you paste text or upload a file into a tool, that data stays on your device — it is never sent to our servers, because we don’t have servers that receive it. Closing the tab removes it from memory.
Cookies
DollarWise itself doesn’t set tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set basic security cookies that are needed to deliver the site reliably. If we add analytics or advertising in the future, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what they do.
Third-party services
- Hosting: Cloudflare Pages serves this site over HTTPS.
- Affiliate links: Some pages contain affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). If you click one and make a purchase, the merchant — not us — may track that referral with their own cookies under their own privacy policy.
Children’s privacy
DollarWise is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how we handle data (for example, by adding analytics), we’ll update this page and note the change here. The current version is dated October 1, 2026.
