# SEO Keyword Mapping Template Pack — free download from DollarWise (dollarwise.xyz)

A keyword map stops guesswork: every page gets one primary keyword, a cluster of supporting terms, and a clear job. Copy the templates below into a spreadsheet or document, one row per page.

## Page keyword map template

## Keyword cluster template

Cluster topic: [broad topic]
Pillar page: [URL of the main guide]
Cluster pages:
- [supporting topic 1] -> [URL]
- [supporting topic 2] -> [URL]
- [supporting topic 3] -> [URL]
- [supporting topic 4] -> [URL]
- [supporting topic 5] -> [URL]

## Search intent checklist

- Informational: the searcher wants to learn. Give a guide, steps, or explanation.
- Commercial: the searcher is comparing. Give comparisons, pros and cons, and prices.
- Transactional: the searcher wants to act. Give a clear action and an easy next step.
- Navigational: the searcher wants a specific site or page. Make it easy to find.

## Monthly keyword review template

Keywords to retire or replace: [list]
Next month's focus cluster: [topic]

## Rules that keep a map useful

1. One primary keyword per page. Two pages targeting the same keyword compete with each other.
2. Supporting keywords must genuinely fit the page. Do not force unrelated terms.
3. Update the map whenever you publish or rewrite a page, not once a year.
4. Track intent first, volume second. A low-volume keyword with clear intent beats a huge keyword with none.
